Today instead of just sitting around being sad, we decided to head to the movies. We rarely go to the movies. We like the movies, we just don't go b/c it involves finding a babysitter, figuring out what day and what time, and then of course paying for it. But today was different as we welcomed the distraction from normal life.
We saw Avatar. It was pretty good. I definitely see the similarities b/t it and Pocahontas as people say, and it was a little long, but overall I enjoyed it.
It's frightfully cold out. This picture is of my covered car. It will likely not be driven for a while as the roads are a little slick and we prefer to take my husbands 4-wheel drive vehicle when possible.
